The shippers/consignees are responsible for and warrants their compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations including but not limited to customs laws, import and export laws and governmental regulation of any country to, from, through or over which the shipment may be carried. Shippers/consignees agrees to furnish such information to comply with such laws, rules and regulations. book-cargo.com has no liability to the shippers/consignees or to any other person for any loss or expense due to the failure of freight forwarders not complying with this provision. Freight forwarders acting on behalf of shippers/consignees in scheduling shipments hereunder warrants that it has the right to act on behalf of shippers/consignees and the right to legally bind shippers/consignees.
Shippers/Consignees shall have complete freedom in choosing and booking the freight service with any freight forwarders they see fit.
Rates generated in book-cargo.com are input by freight forwarders who participated in book-cargo.com. All displayed rates, transit times, type of services, etc are quoted and /or provided by freight forwarders. book-cargo.com is not liable to the shippers/consignees or to any other person on behalf of the freight forwarders under this provision.
book-cargo.com is not liable for any loss, damage, mis-delivery or non-delivery caused by the freight forwarders selected by shippers/consignees.
book-cargo.com is not liable for any loss, mis-delivery or non-delivery caused by the act, default or omission of the shippers/consignees or any other party who claims interest in the shipment, or caused by the nature of the shipment or any defect thereof.
book-cargo.com is not liable for losses, mis-delivery or non-delivery caused by violation(s) by the shippers/consignees of any of the Terms and Conditions contained in the Bill of Lading or of the carrier's General Rules Tariff and/or published Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to, improper or insufficient packing, securing, marking or addressing, or of failure to observe any of the rules relating to shipments not acceptable for transportation or shipments acceptable only under certain conditions.
book-cargo.com is not liable for losses, mis-delivery or non-delivery caused by the acts of God, perils of the air, public enemies, public authorities, acts or omissions of Customs or quarantine officials, war, riots, strikes, labor disputes, weather conditions or mechanical delay or failure of aircraft or other equipment.
book-cargo.com is not liable for failure to comply with delivery or other instructions from the shippers/consignees or for the acts or omissions of any person other than employees of book-cargo.com.
Shippers/consignees shall be responsible for all fees, costs, and charges of any kind hereunder.
Services to be performed by freight forwarders cancelled by shippers/consignees due to whatever reason(s), freight forwarders will have to present written document to book-cargo.com to avoid being charged.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, shippers/consignees agree book-cargo.com may utilize shippers/consignees’ name, logo, trademark, and/or domain name in marketing, advertising, and/or promotional material or communications.
book-cargo.com reserves the rights to amend the terms and conditions at any time without notice.
